
Practitioners are hereby advised of the following arrangements during Easter Vacation 2025.
A High Court Judge will be available every day throughout the Vacation to hear URGENT applications only.
In the case of any such matter please contact the Four Courts at 01-8886000 to make arrangements with the High Court Duty Registrar. Applications will not be listed before the Vacation Judge without certification from the High Court Duty Registrar that the matter is sufficiently urgent. Please be prepared to put in writing via email an explanation of the urgency and specifically the reasons why the application must be immediately or promptly heard.
All sittings before the vacation Judge will take place Monday to Friday in Court 6 in the Four Courts at 11.00 am unless otherwise advised by the High Court Duty Registrar.
Bail and Extradition
In addition to the foregoing, the Bail List will sit in Cloverhill Courthouse on the following dates
- Tuesday 15 April 2025
- Thursday 17 April 2025
- Tuesday 22 April 2025
- Thursday 24 April 2025
The Extradition List will sit in Court 20 in the Criminal Courts of Justice on
- Wednesday 16 April 2025
Legal Diary
The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website (www.courts.ie) on each day on which the Central Office is open during the Easter Vacation (Monday 14 April, Tuesday 15 April, Wednesday 16 April, Thursday 17 April, Wednesday 23 April, Thursday 24 April and Friday 25 April 2025).
Central Office of the High Court
In accordance with the Rules of the Superior Courts the Central Office will close at 4.30p.m. on Thursday 17 April 2025 and will reopen on Wednesday 23 April 2025 at 10am.
The Central Office is open for business by appointment by using the online appointment system https://www.courts.ie/appointments.
